Dr. Violina Frenkel, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist and the Medical Director of Integrative Behavioral Care in Summit, New Jersey, where she provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adolescents (13 and up), adults, and older adults. A Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, she is licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Florida. Dr. Frenkel is known for her integrative approach to mental health, combining conventional psychiatry with the latest research on genetics, metabolism, and nutrition. She has devoted her career to educating colleagues, clinicians, and patients on how integrative strategies can profoundly affect mental wellness. Her clinical work spans a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, eating disorders, and addiction, and she is specially licensed to prescribe Suboxone, Subutex, and Buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid dependence.
