Katie Theesfeld is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She is warm and empathetic, and specializes in treating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship issues. She obtained her Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University and has practiced in community mental health, hospital based, and outpatient settings. Katie utilizes an individualized, eclectic approach and incorporates evidenced-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
